Our phones have taken over our lives, quite literally! Since there’s no getting us off our ever-hunching necks, here’s SC list of five must-have apps for every girl out there.
CARROT Hunger – Talking Calorie Counter
Fitness has never been as trendy as it’s been this past year, and we’re more than happy to jump on the health wagon. While calorie counting wristbands may be way beyond our budgets, here’s a free app that put’s the Q in quirky!
“Greetings meatbag!” yes, that’s how the app addresses you every time you open it. Download it, enter your BMI info and watch the snarky comments follow every time you add your snacking numbers. While this app may not have a wide range of Indian recipes, taking that extra effort of using Google for an Indian dish, only to enter data in this app makes us giddy.
With a slew of pink-coloured floral apps out there, Clue stands out as a refreshing app for that time of the month – it predicts when you’re about to start PMS’ing, sends you a reminder when your next cycle is about to begin and tracks your most fertile days.
We love the app’s clean look and organized sections that help you track your mood and pain index.
KOOVS – The Online Fashion Store
While our stylists at SC are available to offer you fashion advice, whenever you need it – we don’t get as much time to shop for ourselves! That’s when we head onto our guilty pleasure – Koovs.com. Whether girly, sporty or glam, this app has everything you need, for every kind of girl.
A range of clothes in almost every budget, they even curate collections for your shopping ease, and let you take inspiration from your favourite celebrities with their affordable versions.
SafetiPin: Complete Safety App
Our stylists travel to remote locations for shoots from time to time, this app comes in handy as you can check the safety score of an area before you venture out there alone, it also allows you to track friends and conducts safety audits in terms of the feeling, crowd and transportation in the area.
We love how the app encourages to help make the city safer!
These days everyone’s a self-proclaimed photographer – whether its selfie-addicts, foodies or tree huggers, you won’t find anyone without a photo editing app or two on their devices. VSCO Cam is emerging to be one of our favourite apps among the innumerable options out there. With their professional tools and presets, we don’t think we’re investing in a DSLR when we have this app handy.
