7 celebrities who are against animal abuse
Celebrities wear many hats, one of which is using their platform to promulgate and bring about a change in society, especially against cruelty.
Here’s a list of 7 celebrities who are against all forms of animal abuse and take a conscious effort to stop it.
Not only has she made pet care and animal rights issue, a regular feature on her talk show, but she is also constantly looking for initiatives to finding animals loving homes. In 2008, she also joined Halo, a renowned holistic pet care products company, along with launching a game on Facebook called Joy Kingdom in order to encourage its users to make donations to different animal charity organizations.
During the time she had joined a movement to help a circus elephant named Nosey, she discovered the cruelties, negligence, exploitation and ailments, that circus elephants had to endure, and pledged to stand up for it. She has also narrated a video unveiling the true face of China’s fur farms and been a part of PETA's ‘I'd Rather Go Naked Than Wear Fur’ campaign.
His famous quote – “If slaughterhouses had glass walls, everyone would be vegetarian”, has inspired many people around the world. He has been the face of a ‘meat-free diet’ since decades now and has even written many animal rights themed songs like ‘Looking for changes’. He supports anti-vivisection and is a staunch advocator of saving elephants.
"If every cosmetic tested on rabbits or mice had a photo on the packaging showing these animals with weeping swollen eyes and inflamed skin, I believe everyone would leave cruelty on the shelf."
The actor has received a ‘Hero to Animal Award’ from PETA for his continuous support against canine abuse and urges people to adopt homeless animals.
One of the many reasons to admire her, is for her love for animal welfare. She is an ardent supporter of health and medical research of animals, along with being an administrator on the board of trustees for the Great Los Angeles Zoo Association.

A vegetarian since she was 11 years old, Kristen took PETA’S top honor of “World’s Sexiest Vegetarian” award in 2006 and ‘Sexiest Vegetarian Celebrity’ in 2013. She has also worked at the Michigan Humane Society from her hometown and constantly looks for opportunities to stand up against animal abuse. She truly is an angel to the furry beings.

An avid promoter of non-animal tested products, Jenna persists on making conscious decisions while purchasing and using cosmetics that are tested on animals.
“I truly hope that in this day and age, the United States will follow other amazing countries that have already banned cosmetic testing. We as a global leader have not done that yet. That is absolutely disgusting to me.”
