7 girls share the cutest things that their boyfriends did for them on Valentine’s Day
Hey boyfriends – take note.
Some relationships are the reason why the hashtag #CoupleGoals exists. Here are 7 girls who must have the best boyfriends in the world. The only questions we have right now are: where did you find someone this perfect and how can we get some of that?
"This is kind of old school, but my boyfriend and I have a playlist of songs that we love. Music is a big part of our relationship because we're both music artists, so we're always making each other YouTube playlists of dedications for each other. So when he took out the time to hand-pick songs, burn them to a CD, and then create a personalised cover, I knew he was the guy for me." - A, 17
"My boyfriend spent 3 whole weeks learning how to make origami hearts so that he could fill a jar of them for me. Each heart had a note written on it that had my favourite quotes or just really cute things about how he loves my smile, or how he falls more in love with me everyday. Just adorable things like that. He told me to open them whenever I was missing him or when I'm a little sad. He knows just how to cheer me up!" - F, 23
"He was away visiting family in another state during the week of Valentine's Day, so I wasn't really expecting much apart from a Skype call. Then, when he called me up in the morning and asked where I was, I was a little confused. He told me to open my front door, and there he was! It was super exciting and the best surprise ever." - C, 20
"This might be really lame, but my boyfriend and I have lots of arguments about who should do the chores at home everyday. We're both lazy bums, so it's hard to get us motivated. For V-Day, he gifted me a book of 'love coupons' that he lets me use for every time I don't want to do a chore. Like, I can exchange a coupon for him doing the dishes for one night, even if he doesn't really want to do them. It's silly, but I found it really thoughtful." - D, 25
"I'm still at university, so I spend half my day in class before heading to my internship, which usually takes up my entire evening. So by the time I'm home, I'm basically dead; I usually look really tired and as if I haven't slept in weeks! (Mostly because I haven't). So for Valentine's Day, my boyfriend organised a night of relaxation for me. I walked in to the house to see a trail of roses leading to the bathroom, where a bubble bath with all my favourite products were set up. It may seem simple, but I really needed that little treat." - G, 24
"My boyfriend and I have been together for about 3 and a half years now, which means we've got loads and loads of memories to cherish. My boyfriend spent a month working on a scrapbook, finding all our old pictures and printing them out, and getting quotes from all our friends about us, to insert into the scrapbook. It was so much fun looking through it together, and knowing he spent so much time and effort on a gift for me made it incredibly special." - A, 19
"That scene from 'Dostana' in which John Abraham sets up a movie night for Priyanka Chopra under the stars has always been my favourite. My boyfriend and I had watched the movie together, and I guess I got a little too excited about the scene and he figured out how much I wanted something like that. Clever little boy organised a movie night just like the one in that scene, complete with the buttery popcorn. It was a perfect night!" - L, 17
