Being a woman is tough job. We, at SC, agree that it isn’t easy to put your best face on every morning. But, let’s face it, we do tend to get real lazy from time to time and men do take notice of our devil-may-care attitude and overzealous primping attempts as well. Let’s hear it straight from the horse’s mouth – may the men’s council commence!
Lost in your shadow: We love a good smoky eye from time to time, it unleashes the ‘rock of ages’ vibe in us. But sometimes we get so lost in the process of getting it right, we end up overdoing it and once you start dabbing more on, there’s no stopping you – we’re all little guilty of this!

#BrowsOnFleek: SC software engineer, Akshay, mentioned how one of his biggest pet peeves are super thin eyebrows, and we agree! Having a well-defined, groomed brow is one thing and having the life threaded out of it is another. Eyebrows are taking the au naturel route now, and we love it. However, going natural does require a lot more upkeep.

One of the biggest trend on Instagram emerges to confuse us even further – #browsonfleek #browsonpoint – where YouTube beauty vloggers and Instagram make-up artists alike, are jumping on the ‘drawn on brow’ bandwagon. On a more technical note; one would fill and pencil in the sparse brow area within the natural brow, but, these Insta-brows would like to prove otherwise (P.S. do not try it at home).

Fairness-Shmairness: Men love a naturally dark-skinned beauty more than they’d like to admit. With all the fairness rage surrounding India, matters get worse when the foundation doesn’t match your natural skin tone. Now, really, who wants to look like a caked-up ghost?

None of your beeswax: All of us complain that we don’t have time, but there’s always room to fit in that wax appointment in your busy schedule. Men hate it when we go French and ignore body hair, especially when we’re sporting a tank top. Even if you’re lazy, ladies, lets cover it up with a sheer blouse, shall we?!
De-feeted: Missing a pedicure is one thing, and having chipped nails with flaky-half-gone nail lacquer is another. With sandals and flip-flops dominating our daily attires, it calls for some serious sole-searching! It’s a lesser known fact that feet tend to get ignored the most – DIY at-home pedi’s can be super relaxing and only take-up 20 minutes of your time if you’re too busy to walk over to the saloon. P.S. Ladies with toe beards, please give it a quick shave!

Tell us ladies, would you like us to conduct a women’s council and bash the men with their grooming next?!
