You’ve been seeing them everywhere – these hot and happening stylists not only played muses to our SC shoot, they are quite the style mavens themselves! Read on and get to know them a little better.
SC: What’s your biggest junk food weakness?
Antara Motiwala: “French fries *laughs* Really spicy Indian-ized fries!”
Shaleena Nathani: “Desserts”
SC: What tattoo do you secretly want?
AM: “A dreamcatcher with something in Italian written next to it.”
SN: “Well, I already have three! *laughs* So, I don’t think I should get anymore!”
SC: Have you ever been starstruck?
AM: “When I had a dinner date with Colin Farrell! I kept pinching myself throughout asking myself is this really happening?!”
SN: “If I ever see Johnny Depp, I definitely will be!”
SC: A soundtrack that would best describe your life?
AM: “Young and beautiful – Lana del Rey.”
SN: “Magic – Coldplay.”
SC: If you could be a TV character (from a series) who would you be?
AM: “Mischa Barton from The OC, she did everything she could possibly do at that age!”
SN: “Khaleesi! The gorgeous Queen of dragons, from Game of Thrones”
SC: What’s on your wishlist?
AM: “Just about everything from Chloe SS ’15 collection! Also, a Zimmermann swimsuit, Valentino gladiators and an Anamika Khanna organza drape.”
SN: “Tickets to a Coldplay concert and a Chanel camera bag!”
SC: From stylists to models today, how does it feel?
AM: “It’s fun because I’m shooting with my best friend and how many people get to do that? It’s almost like having a slumber party at home.”
SN: “I think I make the worst model, I’ll have fifty hang-ups about things *Laughs* but, its fun! I’ll only do this for Archie (Archana Walavalkar).”
SC: And how does it feel to be styled for a change?
Both Unanimously: “We love it. We’re in real good hands!”
SC: What are some of the fashion trends you’re loving right now?
AM: “For women, I’m loving crop tops and the whole 70s bohemian redux with fringe and tassles everywhere. And with men, I love how they are taking an effort to dress now and they’re finally wearing the pants at the right length – cropped at the ankle.”
SN: “I’m loving the whole comfort trend – wearing sneakers with just about everything! I think it’s really cool.”
SC: So, what do you think of StyleCracker?
AM: “I think the three of them (Dhimaan, Archana and Tia) are doing an amazing job, I couldn’t be more proud of them. It’s been two and half years and I’ve seen this company grow, it’s an amazing project, nobody in India has done it or sustained for this long! I’m always going to be their number one fan and supporter.”
SN: “I think what the founding team has done with StyleCracker is amazing – this is going to be the future of fashion! SC is the talk of the town and I wish them all the best for the future!”
