Whether it’s a quick early morning bite, or a full-on delicious fry-up in the mid-afternoon, we can all agree on one thing… Breakfast is the most delicious part of our morning routines. We recommend not reading this post if you’re hungry, but here are some of the best recipes to start your morning off right.
1. It’s peanut butter jelly time

Link in bio.⠀ INGREDIENTS:⠀ ½ loaf of bread⠀ peanut butter⠀ jam⠀ 3 eggs⠀ dash vanilla extract⠀ pinch of ground cinnamon⠀ 1 cup milk⠀ 2 tbsp butter⠀ whipped cream⠀ crushed peanuts⠀ fresh raspberries⠀ STEPS:⠀ Slice the egg bread into 2 large slices and slice a little pocket into the side of each slice. Spread some peanut butter and jam into the pockets and set aside.⠀ In a large bowl, whisk the eggs. Add the vanilla and cinnamon and whisk until combined. Add the milk and whisk. Place the slices of bread into the mixture and soak on each side for 5 minutes.⠀ Melt the butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the bread and cook on each side for 2-3 minutes, until golden. Remove the pan from the heat, place a lid on the pan and allow the bread to cook in the residual steam for 5 minutes.⠀ Top the French toast with some whipped cream and crushed peanuts. We’ve heard of French toast, but PB&J French toast just takes it to a whole new level. For those lazy Sunday mornings, this is the perfect recipe to lounge around in your pajamas in and devour.
Strawberry Chocolate Chia Pudding ???? Recipe makes 2 serves ???? Chia Pudding: Soak 4 tbsp chia seeds, 2 tbsp cacao powder, 1 tbsp maple syrup and 1 cup almond milk. Mix well to combine. Leave for 15 minutes. Mix again and leave in the fridge to set for 4 hours ???? Strawberry Ice-cream: Blend 2 frozen ripe bananas and 5 frozen strawberries for a few minutes until smooth ???? Assembly: In a jar, add chopped strawberries, chocolate chia pudding and top with strawberry ice-cream. YUM!! ???????????? #nationalchiaday #squirreltasty

It must be criminal to look this delectable, but this smoothie has got our mouths watering. Not all breakfasts need to served up on a plate, or cooked the morning of. Prep this smoothie the night before and wake up to some berry goodness.
4. A hole in one
We’ve covered enough sweet breakfasts, so here’s a savoury treat we’re in love with. Hole in the bread eggs aren’t just super yum, they’re also the most interesting way to serve a fried egg. We’re sure any night-time guests will be incredibly impressed with a breakfast like this one. 😉
5. Cheesy beginnings
Pizza Waffles @tastemadeuk⠀ *Save this recipe on our app! Link in bio.⠀ INGREDIENTS:⠀ 300ml warm water⠀ 25ml warm milk⠀ 2 tbsp olive oil⠀ 1 ½ tsp caster sugar⠀ 7g easy bake yeast⠀ 400g ‘00’ flour⠀ 100g semolina⠀ ½ tsp salt⠀ passata⠀ mozzarella⠀ eggs, optional⠀ STEPS:⠀ n a glass mix together the warm water, milk, olive oil, sugar and yeast and leave for a few minutes until foamy.⠀ Add flour and salt into a large bowl and whisk together until incorporated. Make a well in the centre.⠀ Pour the foamy wet ingredients into the well and stir together with a wooden spoon. When you can no longer stir the dough, tip it out onto a clean surface and knead for 10 minutes.⠀ Grease the large bowl with butter and place the dough back in. Cover with cling film and leave it to rise in a warm place for about 45 minutes to an hour or until doubled in size.⠀ Once risen, punch down the dough and give it a little knead. Separate dough into desired serving size and heat up waffle iron.⠀ Stretch out a piece of dough and place it onto the hot waffle iron. Top with passata and mozzarella and top with more dough.⠀ Secure edges as much as possible by pinching the two pieces of dough together.⠀ Pull down the lid and cook for 4-6 minutes or until golden.⠀ These pizza waffles are best enjoyed straight away.
