The best ever installment of the SC Borough is an agonising 5 days away! We talked to Veerali Raveshia, whose contemporary ethnic collection for Loka will be there, about how excited she is, asking exactly 5 questions. The countdown is on, y’all!
What is the colour palette of the season?
I normally go by my instinct when it comes to colours. Rather than sticking with a specific colour palette I like to have fun with it. A lot of people have said that they like wearing my clothes because of the bright and happy colours. This season I have used a lot of mustard, ruby red, emerald green & midnight blue. For the summer I’m going to take a U turn and stick with only whites for a change. Hopefully.
This season’s Buy, Store & Throw, according to you.
Buy – Straight Long Kurtas that are versatile, so you can wear them as a dress or style differently to suit your personality.
Store – White Shirts
Throw – Neons
3 things you are completely obsessed with.
My collection of Indian Textiles, Jewellery by Amrapali & a blazer I picked up from All Saints.
Among the current talent, what labels would we find in your wardrobe?
Ikai by Ragini Ahuja, Karishma Sahani Khan & AM:PM.
If the world is ending tomorrow, what would you wear to the doomsday party tonight?
An oversized white shirt with my khaki palazzos, with the funkiest neckpiece by Manish Arora for Amrapali.
