Cooking THIS in your mother’s absence is NEVER a bad idea

Home alone and stranded without food; Well, that’s most of us every second day. Craving for the yummiest food and aiming to prepare it yourself mostly results into something that’s totally unexpected (edible or non-edible).

Here’s something absolutely easy and quick that you can cook and even master! Cooked to a sunny golden-brown, this is something quick and what you’d be happy to indulge in – PANCAKES!

With your ingredients as simple as flour, sugar, salt, butter and eggs; be sure of making yourself some great breakfast and embrace everything the day has got in store for you!

Ingredients –
1 c. all-purpose flour, 2 tbsp. sugar, 2½ tsp. baking powder, ½ tsp. salt, 1¼ c. milk, 3 tbsp. butter, 1 egg, vegetable oil for brushing pan

Directions –

Step 1: In a large bowl, sift together the flour, baking powder, salt, and sugar. Add milk, butter and egg and stir until the mix is smooth.

Step 2: Heat a lightly oiled griddle or frying pan.

Step 3: Once you have heated the pan, pour the batter into to the pan in smaller portions of pancakes if you wish to prepare a few together. Cook until it is brown on both sides and serve hot!

Step 4: Add a dollop of butter on top and pour some maple syrup for the perfect taste!

Step 5: Repeat with remaining batter, brushing griddle with more oil if necessary.
