If achieving clear, glowing and flawless skin was as simple as slathering a cream or some kind of lotion on your face, then we would all be mastering the trick right now and be far from facing any skin woes. On a day-to-day basis, your skin is getting exposed to so many pollutants unknowingly that are affecting your skin in ways you wouldn’t have imagined until now. If you’re doing any of the following things, here’s why you need to STOP them right away!
Sleeping with make up on
Blocked pores and bacterial infections are a big no-no! These serve as acne-inducing elements that contribute towards making your skin look dull and oily. Make it a point to remove your makeup with a makeup remover or wet wipes for a healthy and glowing skin.
Excess coffee
Blame most of your dry skin troubles on the excess coffee consumption. We'd suggest you to not exceed more than two cups of coffee in a day and instead, opt for drinking more water.
Water intake
Good amount of water intake in a day serves as natural fodder to your skin. Skipping the same results in rough and shrunken skin and you'd not prefer that, would you?
Popping pimples
Did you know that popping pimples on your skin leads to spreading the puss even more that results in creating more inflammation? Trying to get rid of acne will only push dirt and bacteria deeper into pores, resulting in more breakouts.
Not enough exercise
Apart from being fit and in a good shape, exercise also helps in cleaning the body of toxins. It regulates blood flow, cleanses dead skin cells and even allows new ones to grow.
Hide the booze
It is good to have liquor occasionally with friends, colleagues et cetera. However, regular intake of alcohol doesn’t just affect your system but has an adverse effect on your skin. It leads to skin dehydration thus depriving the skin of vital vitamins and nutrients.
