Deepika Padukone’s Best Style Moments
All recent cleavage drama aside, Miss Padukone has been on a fashion roll this year, stepping out to promote her movies in the chicest of outfits. SC took the liberty of rounding up her most stylish appearances in 2014, taking home a lot of fashion inspiration in the process.
Deepika has been out and about for the promotions for Finding Fanny (which was a rather sweet, quirky movie) and Happy New Year. She has been making a variety of fashion choices, choosing not to stick to a particular style. She can be a saree-clad desi-girl one event and edgy glam the next. So here are our favourites from the plethora of styles that Padukone has donned.
Deepika wore an exquisite Sabyasachi saree to the music launch of Happy New Year. Needless to say, she looked absolutely regal!
Miss Padukone paired separates from Zara for the NDTV Fortis Healthcare 4 U Press Meet. The matched prints made for a winning choice – stylish without being overly glamorous.
She opted for an embellished jacket from Falguni & Shane Peacock, paired with Forever 21 tee and J Brand distressed jeans, for her edgy casual look on India’s Raw Star.
At the screening of Finding Fanny, the actress chose to wear a Monisha Jaising metallic crop top with jeans. She matched her pointed toe pumps with her lip-color, which we thought was a chic move.
Right after the Shake Your Bootiyan song launch, Deepika changed into a floral applique top by Huemn and a distressed denim skirt. White Louboutins finished off her look. We loved!
For a label launch last month, Deepika wore a Cushnie et Ochs cutout dress with pearl trim. She worked the outfit with undeniable class which might have been difficult for another actress to do.
Deepika totally stunned in a red Stella McCartney gown at FHM’s Sexiest Women event last month.
At NDTV’s Indian of the Year Awards 2014, Padukone looked immensely graceful and lovely in a saree by Dev R Nil.
