Eat Your Way To A Slimmer Waistline!

Losing a few inches or shedding a couple of kilos shouldn’t be the cause of the kind of stressy angst that it usually is! If done right, sticking to a strict healthy diet and doing some basic cardio (just take the stairs and walk more!) can get more results than fad diets and crazy sweaty gym sessions! SC has for you a 7 day healthy eating guide, that will lead you to a slimmer you!

Day 1: Breakfast – A bowl of your favorite cereal (not the chocolate kind!) with skimmed milk and fresh fruit.

Lunch – A generous helping of green moong sprouts and a slice of whole wheat bread.

Dinner – Chicken soup (not the creamy variety!) and some sauteed veggies on the side.

Day 2: Breakfast – 2 egg white omelette and a slice whole wheat toast.

Lunch – A leafy green salad with a glass of buttermilk.

Dinner – Brown rice with stir fried veggies. (seriously yum!)

Day 3: Breakfast – A cup of yogurt and some fresh fruit.

Lunch – Grilled fish with some sauteed veggies. (smoked salmon is a good option!)

Dinner – A veggie wrap made from multi-grain roti.

Day 4: Breakfast – A bowl of oatmeal and a slice of whole wheat bread.

Lunch – Brown rice with grilled chicken breast. (lemon juice + vinegar make a good marinade for the chicken!)

Dinner – A leafy green salad and a glass of skimmed milk or buttermilk.

Diet-Plan

Day 5: Breakfast – 1 boiled egg and a slice of toast with 1/2 an apple.

Lunch – Multi-grain roti wrap stuffed with lots of veggies.

Dinner – Low fat paneer salad (make sure the paneer is made from skimmed milk!).

Day 6: Breakfast – A bowl of cereal and milk with a cup of fresh fruit.

Lunch – Low fat chicken salad (include lots of leafy greens!)

Dinner – Brown rice with chinese stir fried veggies.

Day 7: Breakfast – Green moong sprouts with a slice of whole wheat toast.

Lunch – A large bowl of fresh fruit salad.

Dinner – Chicken Pulao (it’s basically low-fat biryani sans all the masala!) and a glass of buttermilk.

SC Tip: For the hunger pangs in between meals, munch on almonds and walnuts, or drink an entire coconut water! Every morning, as soon as you wake up, drink a full glass of warm water with a freshly squeezed lemon and a tablespoon honey in it (this is a fantastic flab cutter!).

Follow this diet plan religiously and you’ll definitely get desired results within 2-3 weeks, but only if you accompany it with regular exercise!
