Minty mermaid hues, to candy floss tones – tresses are taking an avant-garde route this season and we are loving every bit of it! Read on to know which shades made it to our hair colour hotlist.
Pretty in pink
While granny-like grey tones might be the trend internationally, we just wouldn’t recommend embracing 50 shades of grey with Indian skin tones. On the other hand, you could dare to opt for candy floss-like strands and take your tresses for a girly-chic spin.
Go on and flip your hair to the side and put one big fat swoosh of colour from root to tip, or centre-part it and have the ends dipped in a face-framing purple.
Marsala mystique
It’s the colour of the year, and it looks all the more decadent on your crowning glory than it does on your clothes. In an appealing earthy red-wine tone, this colour is sure to bring a warm glow to your face like most red undertones do.
We highly recommend getting marsala lowlights if you’re scared to go all out with this shade.
Make like a mermaid
Minty green hues popped up on this summer with celebrities like Kylie Jenner, Hilary Duff, Jourdan Dunn and Sarah Hyland donning the daring colour.
The cool undertones give them a pastel-y quality, and they actually show up quite well on darker hair. Just remember to add feathers, beads and salt spray and dance into the sun.
Monotone beauty
For those of you who couldn’t care less about hopping on the rebel-train and going pastel with your hair colour, we have a classy chic option for you! Forget ombré and let go of the highlights, go global with a flattering brown hue that would best compliment your skin tone and be sure to have your colourist hide your greys.
We advise against straying too far from your natural hair colour as missing root-touch-up appointments would show up quite drastically.
