After wrapping things up in New York, the Fashion Fraternity moved to London for the Spring/Summer 2015 shows there. The collections featured old and new designs alike. Some trends, like the peplum and sportswear inspired ready-to-wear designers are just not ready to let go of, and hence were seen repeatedly on the runway. Some cuts and silhouettes excited us, some didn’t. We bring you some of the best looks from the London Runway.
Retro clothing (mainly 60s and 70s) was a huge trend observed in the London shows. Though Vivienne Westwood went the 80s’ way, what with the too-broad lapels and huge shoulder pads.

London designers, not satisfied by mere floral prints (too mainstream!), went on to make clothes that feature 3D florals as surface embellishments.

Of the undying peplums and sporty designs, we will say no more.

Sharply tailored suits retained their status as universal favourites.
