Spring calls for all things fresh!
As the new season approaches, we’re all looking for ways to rejuvenate our lifestyles. Whether you want to jump start your bedroom, workspace, or closet, spring is the right time to get back on the grind. So, grab your (metaphorical) dusters and get ready to re-energise yourself.
1. Declutter and destress
The first step to spring cleaning is the most obvious – out with the mess! From getting rid of the things you no longer use, to organizing them into storage boxes, declutter any areas that are looking a little too crowded. The Marie Kondo method is great to achieve this. Pick an item up and ask yourself, “does this spark joy?” If the answer is “no,” then out it goes! Pass it on to a friend who might enjoy it or donate it to your local shelter if possible.
2. Emails need love too
Don’t try and hide it, we know the little notification icon on your smartphone’s email application probably has a two-digit number on it. When was the last time you checked your email and deleted the threads you no longer needed? Go on a deleting spree and form folders or tags for your frequent emails. We suggest creating Work, Family, Friends, and StyleCracker folders. ????
Your body needs a routine cleansing too! Rid your system of toxins by choosing a week-long juice cleanse to complete. Whether you decide to blend these juices yourself or sign up for a service that does it for you, the healthy, natural ingredients will help you get back on track with your fitness goals. Our favourite juice is a sweet combination of papaya, pineapple, kiwi, young coconut water, and ginger. Drink up!
This is probably the hardest way to spring clean your life, but it’s important to cut toxic relationships off. Romantic and platonic relationships alike need a little bit of revaluation every now and then, so take a look at your list of “besties” and weed out those who do not 100% make you happy, but just drain you of your energy instead.
5. Here’s a mindful
Lastly, the absolute best method to ensure your lifestyle is one that brings you happiness, is to have a few moments to yourself. Clear out the first or last hour in your day, and block it off for some well-deserved me-time. Practice some yoga or read that book you’ve been putting off for a while, and you’ll slowly recognize just how important it is to take care of yourself and make sure you’re mentally revitalised.
