Our Prime Minister, Narendra Modi, is without a doubt, one of the most stylish political leaders of all time! Whether it’s a traditional kurta-paijama or a suit that he is wearing, he rocks it all. None can deny that the man has a chic, well-tailored style.
While he looks equally good in kurta and Nehru jackets that he is usually seen in, we prefer him in suave bandhgala suits! SC rounded up some of Modi’s best looks!
Modi’s kurta and Nehru jacket pairings are always a hit. Barack Obama, in his toast at the dinner hosted by President Dr. Mukherjee, said that he would like to wear the “Modi Kurta”.
He keeps things interesting with something different everytime, so his style never gets stale. Here, Modi wears a quilted jacket that he leaves unbuttoned, accenting it with a scarf.
He can even pull off a white on white attire with subtle charm.
His bandhgala coats seem to boost his appeal. Modi’s US wardrobe was much appreciated style-wise.
He wore one of his Nehru jackets to the airport where he welcomed President Barack Obama and First Lady Michelle Obama on 25th January.
Narendra Modi made a very bold fashion choice by wearing a suit with his name all over it. The suit was initially mistaken to be pinstriped, however on a closer look was noticed to have his full name sewn all over it.
For Republic Day celebrations today, Modi wore a traditional Bhandhej safa turban to complement his bandhgala.
