Who is excited to go back to work? At the office we mean! Are you ready to ditch the ‘all-day pjs persona’ and wear actual going-out clothes? I feel like I have forgotten how to wear heels, or even just regular outside flats for that matter. Do you remember the everyday morning routine where you stood in front of your cupboard, and wondered, what the hell should I wear? Or are you the ‘I pick all of my week’s outfits on Sunday’ sort? Well, either way, putting a head-to-toe outfit together seems archaic.
Intrigued by the possibility of being back in this particular situation soon, we caught up with some of our favourite female entrepreneurs, artists, designers, and leaders and asked them to share their potential ‘Back to Work’ looks with us. Outfits that they have steamed, hung up, and are ready to wear, the moment they can resume work from the office.
We love how each of them has a style they can call their own and their ‘looks’ have surely inspired us to start planning what we would like to wear once we resume work, and are back to business as usual.
Arpita Mehta | Designer
The Look: Graphic printed maxi with a classic black blazer
Style Tip: Don’t you love this look? Note how Arpita has paired the monochrome outfit with a tan handbag. It is a definite 10/10!
Avanne Dubash | News Reporter
The Look: Cami top with high-waist trousers, structured blazer, everyday tote, block heels, and minimal jewels
Style Note: Avanne has nailed the petite girl‘s look by sticking to a monotone outfit and open-toe heels. Love it!
Jinanda Sheth | Membership Manager, Soho House Mumbai
The Look: Khaki co-ord set paired with classic black block heels and sling bag, statement necklace, and no make-up, make-up!
What Stands Out: I love how her style is minimalistic yet she has added one statement piece for that extra oomph!
Jessica Jayne | Entrepreneur
The Look: Classic white tee with true blue denims!
“My go-to favourite is a white shirt & blue jeans, to work & play – so that’s probably the first thing I’d wear when I get out of my #WFH pajamas”
Rithika Merchant | Artist
The Look: Printed crop top with candy-pink jeans paired with basic hoops and utility top knot
What I Love: Rithika’s style reflects in her work and vice-versa. I love how she isn’t afraid of colour, both in her fashion choices and paintings.
