1. SARAH JRSSICA PARKER’S COLLECTION

Actress turned shoe designer Sarah Jessica Parker has been thinking of doing this for years but never found the right fit and when everything align, from quality to price print, she finally launched her much awaited collection. With shoe prices ranging from $200 to $300 and bags going for just below $700, will sold exclusively at Nordstrom and hit stores in early 2014.

2. MANOLO JOINS NYFW

Manolo Blahnik will show during New York Fashion Week next season, rather than London where he made his on-schedule debut in September 2013.
I want to share in detail how my mind and imagination work and where I get my inspiration from,” said Blahnik. “New York is a very exciting city and I have a special sentiment towards it since it was the first place to make my shoes available to women outside of London.”

3. BANDRA 190
Sussanne Roshan founders of Mumbai’s newest concept store – Bandra 190 launch saw A-listers like Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan, Karan Johar and Manish Malhotra. The boutique houses everything from fashion labels like Alexander McQueen, Dolce & Gabbana and DVF to footwear by Christian Louboutin and jewellery by Maheep Kapoor.
A part from using two floors of the space to house her home decor label, The Charcoal Project, Roshan has also decorated the entire store. “Bandra 190 is reflective of the new shabby chic that one sees in today’s lifestyles. The experience will be one of a jewel box, which you will enter, and then decide where you want to go,” she explains. Joining Shah Rukh was wife Gauri Khan, Riteish and Genelia Deshmukh, Shilpa Shetty, Malaika Arora Khan, Shakeel Ladakh and Amrita Arora, Arjun Kapoor and more.

4. FOREVER 21 PREMIUM FOOTWEAR

Women’s wear retailer Forever 21 has expanded shoe options with 10 new styles of premium footwear. The Los Angeles-based fast fashion firm, which has 630 stores in the United States as well as international outposts in another 33 countries around the globe (including Malaysia), had previously sold shoes under the US$40 mark. The shoes, which range in price from US$49 to US$79, feature cutouts, buckles, metal detailing and metallic colours. Available online and in the brand’s Los Angeles stores since the beginning of the month, the collection is set to roll out in the rest of the US stores by Jan 10.
The shoes will hit Forever 21’s international stores and online on Jan 17.

5. LE MILL – PAMELA LOVE

As Pamela Love launches her dark designs at concept store Le Mill, we caught up with New York-based jewellery designer who’s become a favourite of edgy ‘it’ girls like Alexa Chung and Sienna Miller.
A native of NYC, the stylist, painter and now jewelry designer Pameal Love is committed to sustainability. All metals in the jewelry are made from recycled materials. Pamela draws heavily on traditional tribal patterns from North America and Mexican folk art. Her collection incorporates elements from Mesoamerican culture. The collection is now available at Le Mill outlets in India.
