It's a trend that refuses to go away so might as well embrace it head on. Think 90s drama with a 2016 twist. Shimmery eyelids that go with almost any look and for any occasion - day or night. The best part about this look is that you don't need to be neat - just press on some loose eyeshadow powder on your little finger and dab on your lids. Opt for shades like gold, copper and silver that are versatile and age-appropriate.
If you're planning to hit a few nightclubs after an evening of shopping at the Borough, why not experiment with some funky graphic eyeliner. Minimal and chic opt for winged liner, double liner or even half liner to make a statement. Also, you need some compact dusted below your eyes and all over your eyelids so that your liner stays dry and doesn't smudge. Opt for gel liner in jet black or if you want to really make heads turn - go for matte white.
DON’T FROWN ON IT
If you haven't gotten the memo yet - here's a wake-up call. Stop over-plucking your brows! Thick, untamed brows are in and if you aren't blessed in the brow area, this is the quickest way to get them. Get hold of an eyebrow kit and draw a line with a brush, along the natural shape of your brows or add an arch for an extra appeal. Use a dark brown eye shadow to fill in your brows. With the help of an eye brow brush, work your brows upwards and leave them looking natural.
Summer is here and no better way to celebrate it than with some super bright lip colour. Keep the rest of your look muted with just a touch of BB cream and mascara. Pick from shades like fuchsia, red or even lilac for a trendy look.
DROPS OF DEW
The new thing in make-up? It's called non-touring and it's the opposite of the highly-chiseled, contoured look. Ditch the excess bronzer and just dust a fine layer of opalescent highlighter over high planes for that i-drink-alot-of-water porcelain skin tone.
