Rajmachi is the perfect trekking destination. Located 78 kms from Pune, this small village lies between Lonavala and Khandala on Sahyadri ranges. The hills witness their lush best during rains when the entire valley is covered with greenery. Rajmachi Fort and Kondane Caves are the most famous tourist spots here and they can be reached through a trek or by cycling.
Get There:
It takes about two hours to reach Rajmachi from Pune. Hiring a cab is the best option and you can book one online or from Pune Station.

Why Go: Girls trip!
The first-ever private and planned city in our country, Lavasa is a great luxurious getaway. Known for its authenticity, this is a place where you can go camping in a glamorous way. Known for its lush forests, giving home to numerous species of birds and animals, this place is a nature lover’s paradise. Amongst the popular spots, Anshi Tiger Reserve and BhagwanMahaveer Sanctuary are famous for wildlife and bird watching. You can also explore water sports like rafting and kayaking, when in Dandeli.

Booking an overnight bus, which takes approximately eight hours, is the best way to reach Dandeli from Pune.

Why Go: To beat the heat!
Panchgani is built between five hills of the Sahyadris and has pleasant climate all year round. One must visit the strawberry farms located here for a delicious experience that also provides an opportunity to buy the yummy jams and squashes prepared here, organically. Another fun outing here includes a visit to Rajapuri caves, a set of four caves.
Get There: By bus or private cab or train, Pune is connected to Panchgini easily.
