Apart from the MET Gala this week, the one thing we’ve been looking forward to with bated breath has got to be Sonam Kapoor’s wedding to Anand Ahuja. Speculations were going around for months but we finally found out that they’ll be tying the knot, in the presence of their their friends and family, on the 8th and 9th of May. To kick everything off, Sonam hosted a mehendi ceremony at her house last evening, and here’s everything that went down.

The bride’s sister looked lovely as always
And her cousins got up to some fun, as expected
Karan Johar was there, obviously!

Her childhood bffs were in attendance
And she shook a leg with them after her mehendi was done
How could we leave out Papa Kapoor…
The evening ended with Sonam in her PJs, giving everyone a view of her mehendi
