The Stylish Women Of Gotham City

Batman turns 75 this year and yet the Caped Crusader shows no sign of slowing down whatsoever and will be cleaning the streets of Gotham City for years to come. But it’s not just Bruce Wayne blowing out 75 candles this year, its also all of his uber-stylish ladies. So StyleCracker decided to pay a tribute to the Dark Knight by taking a look at the style sensibilities of his (undeniably badass) leading ladies!

Rachel Dawes, the Bat’s childhood friend and primary love interest in the movies, is more of a damsel in distress than badass heroine, but she does have guts and her unshaken, clear morals make her striking. She does not shy away from telling the bad guys what she really thinks of them, even giving Bruce a piece of her mind on occasion! Here’s what Maggie Gyllenhaal looked like playing her The Dark Knight.

Selina Kyle, otherwise known as Catwoman, is the favorite anti-heroine in DC Universe. The Cat is classy, and has enough sass to catch (and keep) the Bat’s attention. She’s been Batman’s most enduring love interest and has been portrayed by Michelle Pfeiffer and Anne Hathaway in the movies.

Barbara Wilson is the Dark Knight’s female counterpart, BatGirl. Alicia Silverstone’s portrayal of Batman and Robin’s constant ally was, in many’s opinion, the movie’s only redeeming factor.

Poison Ivy (formerly Dr. Pamela Isley) is Batman’s arch enemy. This one takes environment conservation to extreme while also running around trying to bestow poison kisses on people! Uma Thurman played her in the trainwreck that was the 1997 movie, Batman and Robin.
