Trend Spotting at The Milan Men’s Fashion Week: Fall 2015

The Men’s Fashion Week in Milan was a great lineup of the newest Fall 2015 collections. These were the trends we spotted over and over while browsing through the most brilliant of Fall lines. Now we know exactly what to dress our men in!

Grey Scale – The colour next season for men is any shade of grey! Come fall, we’ll be seeing a lot of shades like charcoal, slate, flint and ash. Better start keeping a lookout for all things grey when we go shopping for our better halves!

Wide Lapels – The wide lapel trend is back, and we expect to see loads of chic wide lapel jackets and coats!

Checks – Checks have are classic and there’s no denying that they make for a very dapper print, no matter what the season!

Dash of Bright Colour – While the overall ensembles might be dark shaded, the trend that we saw frequently repeated was a splash of bright colour. A brightly coloured sweater or scarf ought to add panache to your man’s fall wardrobe!

Long Overcoats – Overcoats, long and bulky, are the way to go if your city’s weather agrees to it. Just throw on these stylish babies over your winter outfits and you’re all set.

Military – The military colours will be all the rage in the months post monsoon. The stylish males of our acquaintance better fill up their closets with the cuts and silhouettes similar to the uniform!

Retro – Everything sure is coming up vintage! The retro styles are back on the trend play-field for the men too! We saw a lot of influence from the 90’s and 80’s fashion in the Milan fashion week collections.
