Wedding season’s rapidly approaching, and some of us have their best friend’s awesome bachelorette to plan. But through all the planning, sorting RSVPs and making reservations, it might slip our minds that we too need kickass outfits for the celebrations.
While you can refer to Lauren Conrad’s website if you need ideas for the bachelorette planning, SC can help you out with your outfit. Don’t stress, it’s huge fun, because it’s basically shopping for party clothes and there’s nothing more that we love! You can fulfill all of your bridesmaid’s duties without skipping a beat because we’ve put together an utterly chic guide to dressing for a bachelorette party!
The trend right now is that girlfriends band together and go for a bachelorette trip instead of just a night’s party (thank you, Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara!). So we’ll tell you what to pack for your bestie’s bachelorette blowout weekend!
Beachy Bachelorette
For the day, pair your swimsuits, bikinis and tankinis with cool printed sarongs and kaftans and easy flip flops or strappy flats. The beachwear collections at The Beach Company and Pretty Secrets is neat, check them out! Do not forget your favorite pair of shades (see our guide to buying sunglasses HERE) and your trusted sunscreen (click HERE for our selection of pocket-friendly sunscreens).
Go boho-chic for the night and change into a flowy floral dress and wedges (if you’re done with flats). The whole group can have identical straw hats or colorful floral tiaras (the bride in a white tiara of course!).
If you have a day of travel planned, like a trek maybe, wear denim shorts with a breezy (sheer or crop, take your pick!) top paired with a pair of stylish sneakers.
To The Hills
If your bestie is a bride fond of hilly regions, make sure you pack your oversized sweaters and best distressed jeans. High top sneakers or boots finish off your “high altitude” look. Carry a small backpack with all your beauty essentials because carrying a huge handbag in the mountains is inadvisable (the monkeys might like it too much and snatch it right out of your hands!).
Night Out In The City
If you’re planning an old-school bachelorette (drinks and dancing at the club all night), dress up glam! Opt for sequined pieces, pairing them with the highest heels you’ve got (only if you can walk in them!) and prep yourself for a wild girls’ night out.
The best bachelorette looks are the ones that have at least one item (clothing or accessory) that’s coordinated for the whole group. You and your besties can maybe wear the same color shoes (ooh, red!), or have similar hair accessories (like big bows or, if you wanna go crazy, colorful wigs!). Whatever you do or wear, just make sure you make this a night to remember not just for the bride, but for the entire group! Have fun, ladies!
